Padmashree Foundation

Padmashree Foundation founded by SadGurudev Rahuleshwarandji has centers in the Himalayas, Rishikesh, Mumbai,India and LA. It provides spiritual upliftment of humanity by spreading the message of universal love, compassion and peace through the practice of prayer, meditation and selfless service.      The Foundation also supports, teaches and provides educational needs to many poor families and children in India.

Make Poverty History

Thousands of New Zealanders have joined with millions around the world to call for an end to poverty.        II is made up of a coalition of organisations from across the country who have come together to call for the New Zealand government to play its part in ending poverty.

Tui Trust

The Tui Trust is a charitable trust established in NZ since 2003 for the purpose of supporting and funding educational, environmental, cultural and social development projects.
It has an overall vision that aims to support the wellbeing of children using an approach which includes the uplifting of cultural identity, the alleviation of poverty, and a reconnection with the environment.

The Tui Trust Board consists of three trustees with links to the Ngāti Maniapoto region. Tui Trust has been involved in a number of projects in the Ngāti Maniapoto region.

CanTeen

CanTeen supporting young people living with cancer. If you, or a brother or sister are aged between 13 and 24 and have been diagnosed with cancer, CanTeen is for you.

Te Hauora o te hiku o te ika

Te Hauora O Te Hiku O Te Ika Trust is a charitable trust established in 1997. It is mandated by, and has representation on the board of trustees from the five iwi of Ngati Kuri, Te Aupouri, Ngaitakoto, Te Rarawa and Ngati Kahu,including community representative.lifestyles for Maori through sport and physical leisure.

Vergal Charitable Trust

Vergal, is a voluntary organization working in and around villages of Kanchipuram. They understand that education is the main need of society. But problems like education systems, poverty, lack of awareness, less importance to girl children make the education impossible for many children. Vergal helps to bring children out of work bondage and puts them in school. It helps them with their school and family needs.  Vergal volunteers also work for the prevention of dropouts, have an education center, run personality development programs and have a counseling center.

National American Indian Child Welfare Association

A national voice for American Indian Children and Families. A comprehensive source of information on American Indian child welfare and the only national American Indian organization focused specifically on the tribal capacity to prevent child abuse and neglect. Our board of directors is made up of 26 American Indians, and we have a staff of 24, most of whom are American Indians.
